Things Thespian Things could get very 'dramatic' at Bay House, and it seems that
the same could be said of Gosport CGS in it's day too. Here are a
selection of photos and programmes from both schools for your
enjoyment. We start with some photos of various plays. As usual

This photo comes from Colin Coldrai. He names the participants as, from right to left: Pete Russell (I think), Brendon Dimmer, Colin himself and Bill Bright. This photo from Paul Hedderly shows the Choral Society, October 1957. Taken in the Art room of what was then 'the new building'. Thanks to Laura and Charmaine Jenking for this photo. It is a production of "Follow a Star", this was put on by Miss Palmer the music teacher and also Mr Simes. Charmaine Jenking is on the back row second from the right. Elizabeth Goodwin is next to her (3rd in), Karin Simmons is the second one in on the left hand side back row. This is a photo of the production of 'Tobias & The Angel' that took place in 1956, and was sent by Paul Hedderly. Another of Pauls shots from Tobias & The Angel . Thanks to Anthea White for this scan of an old Bay House Follies Programme Anthea White sent me this scan of the 1961 Carol Service. You can just see in the top right hand corner where it was autographed by 'Nicky', who was their teacher, Miss Nicholas These scans from Paul show the programme of a 1958 production of Twelfth Night. Programme from 'Radio Lee' (1977?) - one of Steve Blackham's productions written /structured from the cast's improvisation sessions. 'The End of the World Show' again constructed from improvisation classes and produced by Steve Blackham. 1978(?) Christmas production 1979 Christmas production 1978 cast list in programme for 6th form production of 'The Browning Version', produced by Rodney Dean. 'The Browning Version' was taken to Rodney Dean's old school (Tiffin School in Kingston-upon-Thames) and this is the itinerary. Peter H Smith sent this programme for the carol service held in St Matthews Church in December 1949.
